Suprasorb F - Protective Film - 15cm x 10m

Suprasorb F provides transparent protection. The polyurethane film is breathable, flexible and enables a moist wound environment conducive to wound healing through gas and heat exchange. Suprasorb F is fluid-repellent and protects the wound or puncture site against bacterial colonization from the outside.

Due to its transparency, the wound dressing ensures easier wound and puncture site control. Suprasorb F is flexible, stretchable and tear-resistant and very easy to use. Suprasorb F is resistant to disinfectants containing alcohol, iodine and octenidine. The wound dressing provides good protection against external influences and does not interfere with washing or showering. Suprasorb F is available as a sterile film wound dressing and as a non-sterile film dressing from a roll.

Indication

• low exuding wounds
• superficial wounds
• non-infected wounds
• Wounds in the epithelialization phase, e.g.:
• ulcers of various genesis
• 2nd degree burns
• split skin wounds
• postoperative wounds
• abrasions

Application
To be determined by the attending physician depending on wound condition, degree of exudation and possible primary dressing, after 5-7 days at the latest.
