Product information "Montana Level 3 Cap"

The Level 3 Cap is a  soft skinny cap, for medium average spray width from 1 - 4cm (0.4“ to 1.6“).
The spray width changes with the used distance to the object. For skinnier lines, spray from a closer distance. For fatter lines, spray from a further distance.

The complete Level Cap system was developed by Montana Cans to compliment the exceptional characteristics of the low pressure, Montana GOLD. The Level 3 Cap is classed as a Soft Skinny Cap and brings on the change from smaller to a middle sized line. The Level 3 cap is developed for the Montana GOLD range to achieve soft, smooth paint application. Although not as clean as the Level 1 and Level 2 caps before it, the Level 3 cap specializes in fading paint to achieve the ultimate color gradients on small to moderate surface areas.

Often used in graffiti, street art and urban art to fade one or more color into another(s), the Level 3 cap can blend color with fine spray mist to make it difficult to see where one color was applied over the other. The Level 3 cap is for female valve cans and also delivers excellent, accurate results on the Montana BLACK and WHITE can ranges, making it perfectly suited for D.I.Y and arts and crafts projects.

The Level 3 cap can be used in many contexts, but its strengths lie in is use to cover middle to larger surface areas. If you are using it in the context of art and craft or D.I.Y projects, the Level 3 can be ideal for objects that start to become a little larger in size, or when parts can be colored separately and then applied to the main object later. The spray width changes as the distance of application to the substrate changes. For skinnier lines, spray from a closer distance to your substrate. For fatter or broader lines, spray from a further distance. Applying paint closer to a small object may result in drips.
