For best results, a pre-primed surface is recommended. Especially clean and intense results can be achieved by using a similar shade from the Montana GOLD line as a base coat. Applying the spray in multiple thin layers helps build a clean and even metallic finish.

The range offers good lightfastness and can also be combined with Montana GOLD, Montana BLACK, and Montana ACRYLIC Marker products. For added protection and maximum durability, a Montana Varnish in gloss, semi-gloss, or matt is recommended after the paint has fully dried and cured.

For application, the can should be shaken vigorously for around 3 minutes before use and sprayed from a distance of 15 to 20 cm. Re-shaking between spray intervals is recommended to keep settled pigments evenly mixed. The ideal processing temperature is between 10 and 15 °C. Drying time is typically around 10 minutes dust dry, 20 minutes touch dry, and 24 hours for full curing. Painted objects should not be exposed to temperatures above 80 °C for extended periods.
